Moose (from CHAPPiE)
This is a beautiful kit made by Weta Workshop, the folks that made the practical props (including the full-size version of this robot) for the movie CHAPPiE. The kit itself is cast resin, with a bit of structural metal built into the legs and some rubber tubes and metal rod for details. I took it upon myself to replace almost all of the rubber tubing with either metal or plastic versions, so that they would take paint a bit better. I also modeled and 3d printed the strip of grenades for the lower gun. Aside from those things and a few extra antennae and wires, I built the kit to look pretty much like the movie version. The only other addition of note are a few beer cans on the ground that I 3d modeled and printed, just to help lend a sense of scale to the model.
