I was approached by Discovery Channel Magazine to do an illustration for a story about robots at war. The idea was to show some of these small robots fighting along side troops and vehicles. I had to model the robot to match up to some of the prototypes that the military is working on right now, and then try to capture the action of the battle field. All in all, this was a fun project and a nice change of pace from the visual effects world, as it gave me the chance to do quite a bit of painting in Photoshop.
